woah! that was cool! I can't wait for the next one!
I was just reading Alter Ego 81 last night and thought, what a shame, Mr Thomas couldn't reprint the whole of the comics he was discussing.
Thanks ever so much, once again, Mr. Tree
I briefly spoke with Ralph Reese in 1975 when he was an afternoon guest artist at Sheridan College in Ontario. I asked him what was the worst thing about being a comic book artist, and he replied it was the countless hours of working alone in a room.
In looking up Richard Sproul (more familiar as the publisher of Cracked Mazagine (that's how they spelled it) on wikipedia, I found Berni Wrightson's quote on HIS page very interesting. I wonder if that fourth issue will show up some day?
Thanks!
Darci
Darci,
As the story goes when word reached the artists who had completed work for the 4th issue of Web of Horror that it wasn't going to be published, Mike Kaluta got down to the office and snagged all the art that had been turned in. The cover and most of the stories ended up seeing print in fanzines such as I'll Be Damned including Wrightson's cover and the story Out on a Limb.
