ED WOOD JR
1924 ~ 1978

What can one say about Ed Wood...you either despise his films
or love them! Which ever the case may be his films are
not the worst films ever made and three of them are
more than memorable...Glen or Glenda, Bride of the Monster
and Plan 9 from Outer Space! My personal favorite
is Bride of the Monster but who can forget Lugosi
delivering his line in Glen or Glenda
"pull the string"
Here's a batch of stuff I gathered together!
(Thanks to Bob for the loan of some of this material!)

I've always wondered if this Alex Schomburg cover for
Startling Stories Sept/1939 was an inspriation for
Ed Wood's original title to Plan 9...
Grave Diggers From Outer Space
(This is Schomburg's 1st sci-fi cover painting!)

Check out Curt's site featuring the new sensation Dirty!

Several months ago a new book on the life and works of
Ed Wood Jr was published by McFarland written by
noted cult film historian Rob Craig...highly recommended!
(If interested it's available from Amazon & the publisher)
