I'm amazed by this on many levels. First, that work this delicate could be reproduced by a stat camera without picking up a ton of artifacts. Second, the work itself. Third, the text of the original novel by von Harbou. There was also a PB of it around the same time. It's a bit stilted, but there's so much more to the narrative than there is in the film- then again, I've yet to see the recently rediscovered print!
I have a mass market softcover of this edition. I did not even know that there was a limited edition. (It looks like my edition might be missing a few of these gems!)
Seeing it presented like this has renewed the sesne of awe that I had when I first stumbled across it years ago. Envy is a negative emotion, I know, but I cannot help it. Your collection of images is truly one to be envied.
