Frank Frazetta
February 9, 1928 ~ May 10, 2010
Today we lost one of the greatest and most influencial
artists of the past century! I had the profound honor
and pleasure of visiting with him a handful of times!
Thanks for everything you gave us Frank!

I am profoundly sad today. I wish I had had the opportunity to meet him. He was an icon and an personal inspiration for me.
Truly iconic.
He was very approachable in person. I got a chance to meet him in Atlanta back in the mid-to-late 1990's.
Sad news indeed!
A sad day indeed.
He inspired me to want to be an illustrator.
Thank you, Mister Door Tree. I knew you would give us a beautiful gallery.
Rest in Peace.
as you know Mr Tree the news of Frank's passing upset me a great deal. i dont think i even realized how much impact he's had on my whole life until i heard he was no longer with us.
I'll miss him, a true one-of-a-kind, and he refashioned fantasy in his own style.
a true master of illustration very sad that mastery have to have the wrath of the bearded one. some example:
beethoven= deaf. mozart=poor is a rat. ali cant even talk.., f.frazeta= stroke have to draw with the left hand and i think he was the best of last century, very sorry for his passing but we all do.
