These are so much more inviting to me than many modern covers - makes me wonder if they've been compiled into a trade paperback.

I've got every one of those comics, in mint condition. I just can't seem to let them go out of my life, when so many others have. #244, The Demon Lives Again is one of my favorite stories, just based on the art...ok also the powerful kiss with Talia.

I love the masthead logotype for the Detective 100 pagers.

Batman just gets his ass handed to him in all these covers.

Great colours in those comics - both outside and in. Pinks, lime greens, grey-blues. Fantastic! What happened to make that happen in the 70s? Comics were less primary colours (like Schaffenberger's 60's Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen etc.) and more gradations of colours as in this work and Adams' GL/GA - remember the orange sunsets in the last one he drew?
Thanks again Mr. Tree
