Ah, the brilliant images of my youth - Frazetta was a god, Warren did us all a good turn.

Frazetta was the king.
That zombie coming out of the light through the door is one of the creepiest scary images of all time.

It was rather unfair of Warren to use Frazetta for those covers, as their promises could never be met by the contents.

I don't know why, but I always liked how washed out some of the Warren covers were. The "Terror Beyond Time" and "Dark Kingdom" covers in particular - the Warren printing gave them a kind of starkness that I still find really attractive...
