I've stated this on other blogs, but the highly underrated Paul Parker left comics in the collapse of the 1950's and went into radio reporting. He was the on-the-scene guy for WINS radio in NYC well into the 1980's and was known for doing drawings at those same scenes which were picked up by crew and other folks about.
