Fabulous !
Once again you've given us some spectacular illustration. But not only is the art itself beautiful but the scans are terrific - large, crisp and clean.
I think I'll go back up to the top and look at these again.

Thanks.

I bet Barry Windsor Smith would like this guy. His more romantic drawings have a real Gabrielle Dante Rossetti feel to them.

You have found some excellent examples of his work. I have been trying to capture information about him for the eponymous Wikipedia article. Have you any verifiable information you can share?

Do you have the date and circumstances of his death? And could you give me a reference for that information? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hi there kelbel2173. As a relative of Alfred Garth, can I ask you what your interest in him is. Are you a relative too. I would love to find out more about him.

Except for the readily available information on Garth Jones I know nothing else! I have been collecting magazines with his art since I first discovered him when I was a teen! In over 40 years I've gathered together a good batch of his printed works! Somewhere down the line I'll post another group of his illustrations!
