Well you are just wrong! Barry Moser is one of the premiere woodblock print artists of the 20th Century and this art rivals the much more known illustrations by Wrightson on Frankenstein! It's unfortunate you are unable to appreciate this beautiful work!

Great post and thank you for sharing these great pieces of art Mr. Door Tree. It is interesting to compare this to the current Frankenstein by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley illustrated by Bernie Wrightson.

Interesting that the above post calls the compositions "blank" and "lifeless." Those are two of the largest themes of the monster's personality.
