Jeff consigned this original art to Southebys in the 1990's...I knew someone that worked there that generously made me xerox copies of the art...unfortuneately the copy machine didn't pick up the delicate pencil work...I still felt it was well worth getting out there! I see that one of the unpublished Witching Hour pages is up for sale at Heritage in their upcoming February auction!
Very glad to see the partially inked "Bedazzled" story, by the way! It looks very close to Jones' mature style (in comics)---close to the level of work done in "Idyl" or Warren short stories "Dead Run" and "Harry". Thanks for sharing the scans - I, too, wish it were all legible.

So cool! Thanks, Mr. Door Tree!
Where on Earth did you get the unpublished work? This is something I have never seen before, do tell!

Hard to understand why DC wouldn't have published that story, but I can't say I am surprised...too good, I guess.
It may be that Jones simply missed the deadline, doing so many book covers and strips elsewhere.
